OTM is owned and operated by the Winslow Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation funded primarily by the City of Winslow, with additional support from memberships, donations, and sales.

The development of OTM’s website was funded by the Winslow Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber, along with La Posada Hotel, also funded the development of OTM’s logo and rack card, as well as the printing of the rack card.

OTM has five collections on the Arizona Memory Project, the Arizona State Library’s online repository that allows researchers as well as the general public greater access to the unique collections of Arizona’s cultural institutions.

OTM qualifies as a member of the Arizona Historical Society’s Certified Museum Program. As such, OTM is eligible for grant funding, workshops, technical support, and listing in their Arizona History Museum Guide.

OTM is a member of both the state and national organizations that serve small history museums with advocacy, networking, and training: the Museum Association of Arizona and the American Association of State and Local History.
